The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions to the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it's alarmed about the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The service place established for intervention encounters a superior influx of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it complicated to the Workplace to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will status sassa mobilise more resources to enable the servicing of all buyers and enhance usage of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
